WOOD, Edna Irene (nee Grant)

Peacefully with her family by her side at Pleasant Meadow Manor on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in her 97th year.  Beloved wife of the late Gerald Wood.  Loving mother of Charles Wood (Karen Peters), Donna Skuce (Cliff), Kevin Wood (Terri), the late Judy Gallagher and Nancy Jamieson (Charles).  Cherished grandmother of her 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Alice Roper, Florence Musclow (Mel) and Hilda Jepson.  Predeceased by her siblings and brother and sister-in-laws Wesley Grant (Jan), Merle Grant (Jackie), Gordon Grant, Verla Musclow (John), Irma Bernier (Conrad), Harry Grant, Charles Roper, Ted Grant (Lynda) and Peter Jepson.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.  In accordance with Edna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there was a private family interment held  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
