With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Delfina Greco-Palmisano, born February 23, 1958, in Red Lake, Ontario, and raised in Toronto.
A deeply loved daughter, wife, mother, Nonna, and Nannu, and the heart and soul of her family.
Delfina was the daughter of Renato Greco and Gina Fabiano Greco, and the devoted wife of Thomas Palmisano. She was a proud and loving mother to her son Keanu Palmisano, her daughter Angelina Palmisano, and a caring mother-in-law to Becky Harvey Palmisano. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved Shih Tzu, Snoo.
She was one of six siblings and is remembered by her extended family, including her nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Nothing brought Delfina more joy than her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was a loving Nonna to Keith Richards Palmisano and a devoted Nannu to Linkyn Hendrix Palmisano. These were roles she held with immense pride and endless love.
Delfina’s love was constant, steady, and deeply felt. She was the one who held her family together and was the warmth in every room, the comfort in difficult moments, and the quiet strength everyone leaned on. She was also known as a kind and thoughtful neighbour, and was a true friend who was always there for others in both big and small ways.
Her passing has left an unimaginable emptiness, and words cannot capture the depth of this loss. But the love she gave so freely remains, living on in her children, her grandchildren, and in every memory they carry forward.
Though she was taken far too soon, Delfina will always be with those who love her in their hearts, in their lives, and in the unbreakable bond of family she nurtured so deeply
“I remember what she said to me how she swore that it never would end I remember how she held me oh so tight wish I knew now what I didn’t know then.” ~ Against the wind
