Elizabeth 'Betty' Anne (McHarg) Robinson

ROBINSON, Elizabeth Anne “Betty” (nee McHarg): Peacefully, with the love of her family at Hospice Peterborough, on Friday, January 1, 2021. Betty passed away after a courageous battle with cancer in her 75th year.  Betty will be reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 54 years, the late Stuart Robinson (d. 2020). Loving and devoted mother of Kim Lillico (Stephen), Diana Caldwell (Jim), Stuart (Lisa), and Tammy Bailey (Cole). Cherished Grandmother of Michelle (Ryan), Dylan, Kaitlynn (Jake), Megan, Morgan, Stephanie, Andrew, Darcy, Myles, and great granddaughter Charlotte Elizabeth. Adored sister of Hazel Bertrand (Brian), Brenda Laramee (Michael) and predeceased by her twin brother John. Sister-in-law of Ronald Robinson (Calie), May Batchelor, and Carl Robinson (Robyn). Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late William McHarg and Doris Ross. Betty was a kind and caring soul who will be sadly missed by her devoted family and all who knew her. In keeping with Betty`s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will take place when public health guidelines permit. Her family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. John Beamish and the dedicated nurses and staff of Hospice, for the loving care and compassion shown to Betty. Sincere appreciation to the homecare nursing staff of Brian, Tracey and Wanda. In memory of Betty, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
