BURSEY, George Oswald
June 26 th , 1932 - June 20 th , 2022

George passed away peacefully with his family at PRHC to be with his Savior on Monday, June 20th, 2022. He was in his 90th year. George will be missed dearly by his wife and friend Juta (nee Bauer). George was the proud father of Kym (Susan), Kirk, Kamala (Brian), Harry, Jonathan (Erin), and James (Melissa). Loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Mary Ellen of Old Perlican, NFLD., where George grew up. George worked as a punch press operator for the Outboard Marine for 30+ yrs and later, as a school bus driver for 20+ yrs. George was passionate about sharing the message of Jesus Christ and did so through various venues, such as the Millbrook Correctional Centre, the Central East Correctional Centre in Lindsay, and the Peterborough healing rooms. George loved to duck hunt and camp, where he and Juta made beautiful memories with family. Friends and family will be received at The Church at Selwyn, 2686 Lakefield Rd. Peterborough on Tuesday, June 28th , 2022 at 10:00a.m. Refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to FRIENDS Peterborough would be appreciated.
