HOPCROFT, Gerald Gordon (Retired Foreman with the Peterborough Utilities Company)

Peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice Peterborough on Saturday. March 28, 2026 in his 83rd year.  Beloved husband of Donna (nee Lustic) for 58 years.  Loving father of Shannon Potts, and Julie Middleton (Matt Loucks). Cherished grandpa of Abby, Chloe, Wyatt and Austin.  Dear brother of Beth Harding (Gerry), Nancy Dew (the late Donald), Anne Young and the late Ronald.  Gerry will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Linda Hawks, his nieces, nephews and Andrew Potts.  There will be a Celebration of Gerry’s Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM.  Reception to follow.  In memory of Gerry and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
