Obituary

In Loving Memory of Gord Wallace

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gord Wallace, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

Gord was predeceased by his cherished wife, Donna Wallace (née Lepard), with whom he shared a lifetime of love, devotion and building a life centered around their family making treasured memories.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Jim (Bett), Raye (late wife Barb) and sisters Marlene (late husband Ted) and Dawna. He was predeceased by his sister Jean and her husband Bill.

He leaves behind his loving children, Kim (Karen), Judy, and Janice (Warren), who will forever be grateful for his guidance, strength, and unwavering love. Gord was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family and watching it grow through the generations.

He was predeceased by his grandson, David Wallace, whose memory remained close to his heart. Gord's legacy continues through his remaining six grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy throughout his life.

Gord will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, sense of humour and the steady presence he provided to those who knew and loved him. His life was marked by devotion to family, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

While his passing leaves a profound void, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain with his family forever. May those who knew him find comfort in the many stories, laughter, and treasured memories that will keep his spirit alive.

A celebration of Gord’s life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Highland Park Funeral Centre. A private family interment will follow at 3:30 pm at Rosemount Memorial Gardens where Gord will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Donna.

His family extends their sincere gratitude to all those who have offered their love, support and condolences during this difficult time. Donations are appreciated to Hospice Peterborough or any charitable organization of your choice

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
