Hotston, James Harold;  Peacefully surrounded by family on Friday June 5, 2026.  James has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1969, former owner of Comstock Funeral Home Ltd. (1981 – 1987), past President of Bay of Quinte Funeral Service Assoc. (1976 – 1977), former member of the Peterborough Rotary Club, Peterborough Sales and Ad Club and past Chairman of Five Counties Children’s Centre Foundation.  Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Elizabeth James (2003).  Dear father of Leisa Hotston (Steve Vinette), Anna Marie Cavanaugh (Sam) and the late Edward James Hotston.  Grandfather of Matthew (Miranda), Benjamin (Chloe) and Jeff Westlake (Angele).  Brother of the late Dorothy Butcher.  Friends will be received at the Highland Park Funeral Centre 2510 Bensfort Rd on Wednesday June 10, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am followed by interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.  In memory of Jim, donations may be made to Five Counties Children’s Centre Foundation.
