MITCHELL, James Stewart “Jim”: At Peterborough Regional Health Centre with family by his side on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, in his 76th year. Jim, beloved husband of Carol (nee Bailey). Loving and devoted father of Jamie, and Kate Mitchell. Dear brother of Bill (Monique Paquin), Candace Skrapek (Wayne), Jacquie Mitchell, and predeceased by his sisters Christie McDiarmid, and Alison LaForce. Brother-in-law of Karen Bailey, Lynn Heinitz, and predeceased by sister-in-law Gwen Bailey. Remembered lovingly by his nieces and nephews Erin, Colin, Patrick, Gavin, Nate, Aidan, Elizabeth. Son of the late James Mitchell and Helen McDiarmid. Jim’s family would like to thank the caring staff of PRHC I.C.U for the compassion and care shown to Jim during his time there. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be arranged at a future date.
