DILLON, James ‘Jim’ Thomas (Charter 4th Degree Member of Sir Aubrey Allen Knights of Columbus Assembly #2571, Long Time Member of Immaculate Conception Knights of Columbus Council 12418): Peacefully with his sister Mary Ann by his side in Trenton, Ontario after a long illness on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 in his 90th year. Jim was born in Trenton, but resided in Peterborough for many years where he was a rural assessor before retiring. He leaves behind his sister Mary Ann Smith (Don), his sister-in-law Bernie and his dear friend Mary Paquette. He is predeceased by his wife of 41years, Mary (O’Loughlin), his sisters Rita (Woodland), Sally (Von Buchstab), Norah (Graziano), Theresa (Hart), and his brothers Andy, Bob, and John. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews. Son of the late William Dillon and Mary Burns. Visitation will take place at Highland Park Funeral Centre, Peterborough on Sunday, June 14th from 1:00 to 3:00pm (Parish Prayers 2:30 pm – Knights of Columbus Prayers 3:00pm). Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, on Monday, June 15th at 11:00am. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery followed by a light luncheon in Immaculate Conception Parish Hall.
