HUGHES, Larry Jamie “Jay”: At Northumberland Hills Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 20, 2020 in his 47th year. Jay, beloved husband of Nicole Simpson. Loving and devoted father of Ava and Jorja Hughes. Son of Julia Hughes (nee LaPointe and the late Larry Hughes. Dear brother of Ruth Mumby (Bill), and Garry Graham. Survived by Nicole’s parents Carol Simpson and Terry Simpson and by his sister-in-law Tanya Simpson. Loving uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jay will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. In keeping with Jay’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place in the future.
