KIRKUS, Joan Elaine (nee Quinn): It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Elaine Kirkus (nee Quinn) announces her passing on January 6, 2022 in her 90th year. Joan, predeceased by her loving husband Ernest and her eldest son Mark. Dearly missed by her daughter Diane and son Mike. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan (Marilyn), and Leah (Scott), and her great grandchildren, Cooper, Autumn, Asher, and Elliot. Caring and outgoing, she had many dear friends and will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews. A lover of music, especially the big bands, she was a talented dancer and organist. A celebration of a life well-lived will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1:30 pm Reception to follow.
