Passed away with family at her side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in her 82nd year.  Juanita took pride in her career as a medical receptionist at the Peterborough Clinic for over 25 years. Juanita’s passion was her family. Family dinners, card nights, and enjoying barbecues with an amazing view were loved activities in her family home. Beloved wife of Henry Gatt for 56 years.  Loving and devoted mother of Connie Gatt, Michael Gatt, Monique Gatt (Amanda Stewart) and Janet Valk (Sean).  Cherished and proud grandmother of Logan, Ethan, Jay, Justin, Drew, Jamie, Cailah and Ellie.  Predeceased by her parents Armand and Monica (nee Couture) Beaune, her brother Armand Beaune (Phyllis) and her sister Gloria Jenkins (Art). Juanita will be sadly missed by all that knew her including her beloved beagle basset hound Willie. Funeral service will be held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 4:00 PM.  Reception to follow where family and friends can meet to celebrate Juanita.  In memory of Juanita, donations to the Alzheimer's society would be appreciated by the family.
