CHESTNUT, Larry Russell Reid

With saddened hearts, we announce that Larry Russell Reid Chestnut left us on January 24, 2023 at the age of 71. Survived by his loving wife and soulmate Donna Burley Chestnut, adoring daughters Tina Burley-Pierce (Roger) and Traci Burley-Tempany (Keith Monahan). Larry was a very proud Papa to grandchildren Emma, Kaitlyn, Sophia and Connor. Beloved son of the late Russell and Phyllis Chestnut, brother to Dianne Estabrooks (late husband Eric) and Cindy Chestnut (Brian Gandy), uncle to Scott Estabrooks (Lori Neill) and Jennifer Rishor (David), brother-in-law to Larry Macdonell (Shelley), the late Ken Macdonell (Dana), Steve Macdonell (Jan Watson), and Debbie Krolczyk (John). Larry also leaves behind numerous close friends.

He was a prominent local businessman and the proprietor of Pro Graphics Ltd, a successful international marketing agency.

Larry and Donna enjoyed traveling around the world, winters in Florida, summers on Chemong Lake, and sharing time with family and friends. Larry’s favourite hobby was playing golf with his many golfing buddies. A man who made friends wherever he went. We will miss his welcoming smile, sense of humor and practical jokes. He will be loved forever.

The family would like to give many thanks to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre nurses and doctors on Floor A5 and A3 ICU for their excellent care and support of Larry.
