In Loving Memory of Leo James Lawlor

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leo James Lawlor on July 28, 2026, at the age of 63. Born March 27, 1963, Leo leaves behind a lifetime of stories, laughter, memories, and people who loved him deeply.

He will be forever missed by his wife, Peggy Mills; daughter, Lynn Evans (Cruz); son, Brody Lawlor (Lauren); and grandchildren, Devenna, Mckenna, and Paisley, who will carry his memory with them always.

Leo will also be deeply missed by his mother-in-law, Deb Mills; siblings Sherry (Eric), Frank, Tammy, and Joe (Michelle); brothers-in-law Tim (Janet) and Jeff (Amy); his many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Jax.

Leo was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Cathy Lawlor; sister, Lisa; father-in-law, Dan Mills; son-in-law, Chris Merryweather; and nieces, Erica Lawlor and Lillian Hayes.

Rest easy, Leo. You were loved, you were one of a kind, and you will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough, Ontario. A service and reception will follow.
