Marion 'Dokie' (Oakes) McDougall

MCDOUGALL, Marion ‘Dokie’ Irene (nee Oakes), Long Time Employee of Loblaws, Peterborough): Peacefully with her family by her side at PRHC on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 in her 84th year. Dokie, beloved wife of the late Frank McDougall. Loving and devoted mother of Todd McDougall (Penny), Tammy Gignac (Peter), Troy McDougall (Brenda), and Grammie to Tamara McCaffery (Wayne), Autumn McDougall (Robin), Brandon McDougall, and Baylee McDougall. Dear sister of Beverley Billings (Ross), and predeceased by her sister Cynthia McGuigan (Earl), brother Dale Oakes, and survived by her sisters-in-law Shirley Robinson (Doug, predeceased), Alma McDougall (Willie, predeceased) Wyona Black (Neil, predeceased). Remembered lovingly by several nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Dennis & Dorothy Oakes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dokie’s Memorial Service in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at 2:00pm. Her nephew, Reverend Brent Hawkes officiating. A light luncheon will follow the service. In her memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
