Robert Ernest Thorne

Robert "Bob" Ernest Thorne, born November 27, 1940 in St John, New Brunswick. Son of the late Mildred Thorne and widower of Margaret Thorne passed away peacefully at home with family by his side. He is survived by his two children Brian (Carol) and Karen (Paul); his two grandchildren Amber (Chad) and Amy (Iain); his three great grandchildren Ryann, Dax and Payton; and his baby, Ruby. Bob was a lover of all things, thrifty Saturday morning yard sales and treasure searching at the beach on a Sunday morning. He loved to be in the garage, fishing and hunting especially back home in New Brunswick. He enjoyed his rum and Coke on a sunny afternoon while being in the garden. His life was nothing short of amazing and full of adventure. He will be missed by so many but we will find peace in knowing that his suffering has stopped and how much he loved his family. 

As per Bob’s wishes, there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart of Hastings Hospice.
