MacKIRDY, Robert “Bob” David (Retired Outboard Marine Corporation)

After many years of chronic pain and illness, Bob passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in his 90th year.  Left to mourn him after 66 years of marriage is his beloved wife Joanne (Davidson), his daughters Chris (Doug) St. Pierre and Liz (Terry) Hall who loved him dearly, his grandchildren Stephanie Major, Mathew Thomson and Rob Hall to whom he was a much-loved Gramp and his great grandchildren Laila and Justin Major.  He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Wally and Marion Davidson and the entire Davidson family.  Visitation will be held at ST. JOHN ANGLICAN CHURCH 99 Brock Street, Peterborough on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 PM.  Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM.  Reception to follow in the Church Hall.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Doctors Without Borders, St. Johns Anglican Church or the PRHC Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
