March 1, 1935 to March 20, 2023

Peacefully with his family at Hospice. Beloved husband, for 63 years, of Teresa (Coughlin).

Much loved “Dad” of Terry (Brenda) and John (Debby). “Poppa” will be missed and always adored by his grandchildren Hannah, Kate, Mick, Grace (Paige), Frances, and Chloe. Survived by his brother Bill (Pat), brother-in-law Dan Goodfellow, and sister-in-law Joanne Coughlin. Terry was loved by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.  

Predeceased by his parents John H. Keating (Jack) and Loretta Murphy, sisters Loretta (Vern), Olive, Barbara, and Audrey Goodfellow, and brothers and sisters-in-law Jack and Vera, Vern and Marg, Jim and Bernie, Frank and Judy, Don and Madeline, and brother Harry. 

At Terry’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, Douro on Saturday March 25 at 11:00am followed by a reception in the parish hall. A private burial will be held at a later date. 

In memory of Terry, donations to Hospice Peterborough or Casa De Angelae would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Highland Park Funeral Home. 

Thanks to Dr. Brian Lindsay, Dr. Bill Meade, and Dr. Radu Butan for their care and kindness to Terry. Thanks also to Dr. Blake, Dr. Beamish, and all the wonderful staff at Hospice for their care of Terry during recent days. Special thanks to Dr. Paul Armour and Theresa for their care of Terry for so many years.
