McTEAGUE, William “Bill” Patrick

July 16, 1963 - January 17, 2023

Bill McTeague, age 59, passed away peacefully at PRHC on January 17, 2023. Bill was employed by Kawartha Participation Projects (KPP) as a Personal Support Worker and considered it a great privilege. He lovingly cared for vulnerable clients and considered them family. His sense of humor, big laugh and love of sports brought joy to his family and many friends. He lived his Catholic faith humbly through prayer and service to others. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy, son, Brandon McIlmoyle (Stacey), grandchildren Laila and Remington, and stepsons, Tim and Steven. He will be deeply missed by his six older sisters, Joanne Taylor (Richard), Marilyn Peck (Stephen), Marie Maas, Catherine Pinckney (George), Justina Cahill, Louise McTeague, nieces, Gillian, Janelle, Alexandra, and nephews, Geoffrey, Christopher, Gregory, Matthew, Bennett and Christian. Bill is predeceased by parents, William and Catherine McTeague. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass Will be held at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Friday, January 20th, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall Bill’s family is sincerely grateful to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their compassionate and extraordinary care.
